STEM exCEL 3D Printing & Roblox Design 11/2-11/3

In this exciting 3D Printing & Roblox Design Camp, students will learn to create original 3D models from both an artistic and engineering perspective, then bring their creativity to life by designing interactive games and worlds using Roblox Studio. Combining hands-on design with digital game creation, campers build skills that connect imagination, technology, and real-world problem solving.

In the 3D Printing portion of camp, students will learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling while discovering what to consider when constructing a model for the best-quality print. Campers will observe a 3D printer during lessons to understand proper printing standards and processes, then design their own creations that will be printed for them. By the end of camp, students will take home their own accounts to continue modeling at home and at least one printed model they designed.

Campers will also explore Roblox game design through Roblox Studio, learning key concepts like level design, player experience, storytelling, 3D world building, and programming logic. Students will create immersive environments, design engaging challenges, and add interactive elements to their games. With guidance from our experienced instructors, campers will develop their confidence as creators while building a finished Roblox game they can play and share online.
